Case Study One:

Group of 10 celebrating a birthday at Blanket Bay April.

Clients Wishes

Day 1.A nice relaxing bush walk suitable for all abilities with good food.

Day 2. A mountain biking ride for novices to expert riders with good food, where some could ride for a short time and others could ride longer and some could go fly fishing.

Our Promise

Day 1: We selected a mixture of trail and off trail walking to gently extend clients’ experience in a beech forest, river flat, lake and stream setting.

Day 2:  We chose the Rees Valley Station to ride the river flats in to the bush 10ks with 2 x bike guides so we could split the party so the experts could have some challenging fun as well.  The ride length was entirely the client’s choice as we had backup vehicles in place to collect them as and when they wished.   One of our bike guides is also a member of the professional Fly Fishing Association and so was ready to take some of the party fishing after the bike ride.

Our Delivery

Day1: The walk went according to plan and the clients loved the variation in their hiking day.

Day 2:The weather made us change plans at the last minute (flooded river). With 2 bike guides our Clients rode a stunning lake side trail that the novices found enjoyable. The hard core riders rode both ways, while the others transferred by vehicle for the journey up to a beautiful high mountain lake. Some chose to ride the last section to the lake, where we all joined up again for lunch in the pristine environment. The Clients were blown away by the location; most chose to ride around the lake while a few tried their hand at fishing as the weather closed in cancelling the planned fly fishing.

The Result - In the client’s own words

Absolutely brilliant in every way. Organisation was perfect, food gorgeous and the guides both knowledgeable and fun. Pure Adventure is simply excellent at everything they do.  We will use you guys again and again.

Case Study Two:

Client’s Needs

Having only one day in Queenstown and wanting to experience as much as possible! Incredibly we lined up 11 experiences in one day.

The Promise

To 4 wheel drive Skippers Canyon, downhill Mountain Bike, Jet boat, Helicopter ride, see Milford Sound, Land on a Glacier, Heli hike, Luge, Parapente, Quad bike and Bungy.

The Delivery

The weather played havoc with our planned day and the jet boat ride was cancelled as the river was too high.  The Clients enjoyed 2 x downhill mountain bike rides and a 4 wheel drive experience up and down Skippers Canyon,  exclusive Quad Biking, the Kawarau Bungy jump, an Over the Top Helicopter flight (as the weather had cleared) to Milford Sound.  The Glacier landing was abandoned as the winds were too high so a Heli hike from the Ben Lomond Saddle was arranged followed by a Luge ride.  The Parapente was cancelled due to high winds so the clients completed the Ledge Bungy and a Gondola ride which took them back to central Queenstown.

All our operators showed great adaptability for us, as the weather and plan changed as the day went along.  We delivered 10 experiences in a day.
